Rida is a Limited Permit Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT-LP). She graduated from Alliant International University, completing her master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. She studied Psychology and Creative Writing during her undergraduate years at CUNY City College of New York. Rida has experience providing therapy to couples, families, and individuals including children and adolescents who struggle with depression, anxiety, couple issues, family issues, substance use, self-esteem, grief, and trauma. She has two years of experience working as a Registered Behavioral Technician working with children diagnosed with Autism. She enjoys working with children and families and strives to be open and welcoming to all. Creating a trusting relationship with her clients and allowing them to guide the sessions at a comfortable pace is of high importance to her. Rida strives to empower those around her so they can establish themselves in the world they live in. Rida uses a Narrative Therapy and Solution Focused approach but most of all, strives to understand her client’s needs.
