Peter, is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) and psychotherapist who holds a Master of Social Work (MSW) from Fordham University and a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Columbia University. He offers a warm, nonjudgmental space where clients can show up freely while engaging in meaningful self-exploration. Peter’s approach is rooted in compassion, radical acceptance, and curiosity, integrating psychodynamic therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and emotionally focused therapy (EFT) to help clients better understand themselves, shift unhelpful patterns, and experience those powerful “ah-ha” moments that support lasting change. Fluent in both English and Spanish (native), Peter is able to offer a more culturally responsive and bespoke therapeutic experience. He believes therapy does not need to feel heavy at all times and thoughtfully incorporates humor to help clients approach difficult topics with greater ease. Peter specializes in working with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and obsessive thoughts, and is committed to supporting clients in building clarity, resilience, and emotional well-being.
