Lauren B. is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) who is passionate about supporting people through healing, growth, and self-discovery. She earned her Master of Social Work from the Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College and holds a bachelor’s in psychology from Wesleyan University.
Lauren has worked with teens, adults, and families in both school and community settings, helping people navigate life’s challenges and strengthen their relationships. She has supported survivors of family violence, guided young people through emotional development, and completed training in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to support children and youth who have experienced trauma. She blends cognitive behavioral tools (CBT), storytelling practices, and relaxation techniques to create space for people to reconnect with themselves and their histories.
Above all, Lauren believes in the power of compassion, connection, and honoring each person’s unique story. She is committed to walking alongside individuals and families as they tap into their inner strength, heal across generations, and build meaningful lives.
