Kathryn is a limited permit mental health counselor (MHC-LP) with experience working with adolescents and college-aged students. Kathryn obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Neuroscience from lona College and went on to receive her Master of Arts in Mental Health Counseling from lona University. She has experience providing individual and group therapy within higher levels of care. Throughout her career, Kathryn has supported clients navigating eating disorders, depression. anxiety, mood disorders, self-esteem concerns, academic stressors, and complex family dynamics. She has worked in higher levels of care treating eating disorders and co-occurring mental health concerns, which has provided her with a strong understanding of the unique challenges faced by adolescents and emerging adults. Kathryn utilizes a person-centered approach and believes in meeting each client where they are, tailoring treatment to each individual’s needs and goals. She is caring and passionate about her work, and strives to create a supportive, collaborative, and empathetic therapeutic environment that encourages growth and meaningful change.
