Alssaro Counseling Services, PLLC offers a 12 week comprehensive Anger Management Program.

anger management counseling groupOur certified specialists are recognized by the National Anger Management Association (NAMA). The classes are offered individually and in group format. We can provide classes in English and Spanish. The program lasts 12 sessions, and if participants comply with all class requirements, they will receive a signed certificate of completion.

Anger is an emotion. Everyone feels angry at some time. You may not be able to change the person or situation that makes you angry. But you can change how you respond to anger. The goal of anger management is to learn to control and express anger in a positive and effective way without causing emotional or physical harm to others.

  4. Effective communication skills in the angry moment
  5. Emotional Intelligence

Anger Management One-on-One  Sessions

These sessions are designed to offer the most individual help for those who feel the need for private and confidential instruction. The Anger Management specialist will guide the individual through these comprehensive sessions covering all aspects of the course. These sessions are one session per week for twelve weeks. Scheduling times are dependent on the client’s individual schedule and facilitator availability.

Anger Management Group Sessions

In small groups, these sessions are designed to offer help for those who feel more comfortable in a group atmosphere. Emphasis is placed on both gaining knowledge through instruction and participation in open discussion within the group. The group sessions are designed to last for a period of 12 weeks.
